Musa Publishing Anniversary

Celebrate with Musa Publishing on its first anniversary--Visit the websites of its authors, register to win books and other prizes, and maybe even win a Kindle Fire!

One year ago Musa Publishing began operations, offering novels and short stories in electronic format. It held a promising outlook in a less than certain industry, starting small yet dynamic, with an uncompromising goal of getting good stories into the hands of readers at fair prices. They have since gone on to include dozens of authors and hundreds of works, even expanding into print editions, carving out an ever growing and resourceful presence in the world of books.

It was just over a year ago that I was offered a contract for publication of my novella "Day Dreamer" and learned that it was to be published during Musa's inaugural month. Although it wasn't my first publication, it was my first sale, and I shall remain always grateful to Musa and its directors for believing in the story and in me.

Here is a list of links to various interviews and features regarding "Day Dreamer" during the past year:

    1. Thanks. I really like the book cover too. Congratulations on becoming published. (That was the dream I had in mind, myself, when I posed the suggestion.) I hope your dreams keeps coming true for you.

  2. Hi Devin! Your book, Day Dreamer, sounds very intriguing! I only wish this dream had come true, but it's one of my favorites anyway. Both of my parents passed away years ago. But one night I had a dream where my family and I were with them at the beach. We were attending a cookout with lots of other people one night, and my parents kept stealing me away and showing me where to dig in the sand to find little bags of old gold coins! It was a wonderful dream because it felt so real and it was so good to see them again. Best of luck in your writing, and thank you for evoking a great memory! My email is randjurban@gultel.com

    1. Hello, Janice. What an extraordinary dream! I am always astonished at the images that visit us in sleep, but the emotions of dream are what prove forever compelling. The dream you describe sure would be a great one to have come true, and in so many fascinating ways. I am glad you like the sound of my novella. Keep watch at the end of the week to see if you win a free download.

  7. I dream but hardly remember any of them, other than the strange ones, like the one where I was hunting for a certain person I knew in a Campbell's soup factory ( I woke up thinking what in the world was that about).

My dream is to be a published author. I have started two books, neither of them is finished. I continue to work on them as well as write down other story ideas that beg to be told.
